사도행전 27장

27 ○열나흘째 되는 날 밤에 우리가 아드리아 바다에서 이리 저리 쫓겨가다가 자정쯤 되어 사공들이 어느 육지에 가까워지는 줄을 짐작하고
On the fourteenth night we were still being driven across the Adriatic Sea, when about midnight the sailors sensed they were approaching land.

28 물을 재어 보니 스무 길이 되고 조금 가다가 다시 재니 열다섯 길이라
They took soundings and found that the water was a hundred and twenty feet deep. A short time later they took soundings again and found it was ninety feet deep.

29 암초에 걸릴까 하여 고물로 닻 넷을 내리고 날이 새기를 고대하니라
Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern and prayed for daylight.

30 사공들이 도망하고자 하여 이물에서 닻을 내리는 체하고 거룻배를 바다에 내려 놓거늘
In an attempt to escape from the ship, the sailors let the lifeboat down into the sea, pretending they were going to lower some anchors from the bow.

31 바울이 백부장과 군인들에게 이르되 이 사람들이 배에 있지 아니하면 너희가 구원을 얻지 못하리라 하니
Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, "Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved."

32 이에 군인들이 거룻줄을 끊어 떼어 버리니라
So the soldiers cut the ropes that held the lifeboat and let it fall away.

33 날이 새어 가매 바울이 여러 사람에게 음식 먹기를 권하여 이르되 너희가 기다리고 기다리며 먹지 못하고 주린 지가 오늘까지 열나흘인즉
Just before dawn Paul urged them all to eat. "For the last fourteen days," he said, "you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food -- you havent eaten anything.

34 음식 먹기를 권하노니 이것이 너희의 구원을 위하는 것이요 너희 중 머리카락 하나도 잃을 자가 없으리라 하고
Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head."

35 떡을 가져다가 모든 사람 앞에서 하나님께 축사하고 떼어 먹기를 시작하매
After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all. Then he broke it and began to eat.

36 그들도 다 안심하고 받아 먹으니
They were all encouraged and ate some food themselves.

37 배에 있는 우리의 수는 전부 이백칠십육 명이더라
Altogether there were 276 of us on board.

1. 배경지식
- 출항 : 선주의 말에 따라서 시작, 바울은 위험을 경고함(사도행전27:10~12)
- 회복 : 바울의 말에 따라 생명의 구원

- 선원 : 경험과 의지를 따름
- 바울 : 하나님의 구원을 감사하고, 상황보다 말씀을 붙들음

- 하나님으로 충만하여 타인에게 평화를 전하는 크리스챤

양과 염소의 비유

마태복음 25장

31 ○인자가 자기 영광으로 모든 천사와 함께 올 때에 자기 영광의 보좌에 앉으리니
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.

32 모든 민족을 그 앞에 모으고 각각 구분하기를 목자가 양과 염소를 구분하는 것 같이 하여
All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

33 양은 그 오른편에 염소는 왼편에 두리라
He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 그 때에 임금이 그 오른편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 내 아버지께 복 받을 자들이여 나아와 창세로부터 너희를 위하여 예비된 나라를 상속받으라
"Then the King will say to those on his right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

35 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주었고 목마를 때에 마시게 하였고 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하였고
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

36 헐벗었을 때에 옷을 입혔고 병들었을 때에 돌보았고 옥에 갇혔을 때에 와서 보았느니라
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

37 이에 의인들이 대답하여 이르되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주께서 주리신 것을 보고 음식을 대접하였으며 목마르신 것을 보고 마시게 하였나이까
"Then the righteous will answer him, `Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

38 어느 때에 나그네 되신 것을 보고 영접하였으며 헐벗으신 것을 보고 옷 입혔나이까
When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

39 어느 때에 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 가서 뵈었나이까 하리니
When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?

40 임금이 대답하여 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 여기 내 형제 중에 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 한 것이 곧 내게 한 것이니라 하시고
"The King will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.

41 또 왼편에 있는 자들에게 이르시되 저주를 받은 자들아 나를 떠나 마귀와 그 사자들을 위하여 예비된 영원한 불에 들어가라
"Then he will say to those on his left, `Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

42 내가 주릴 때에 너희가 먹을 것을 주지 아니하였고 목마를 때에 마시게 하지 아니하였고
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,

43 나그네 되었을 때에 영접하지 아니하였고 헐벗었을 때에 옷 입히지 아니하였고 병들었을 때와 옥에 갇혔을 때에 돌보지 아니하였느니라 하시니
I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.

44 그들도 대답하여 이르되 주여 우리가 어느 때에 주께서 주리신 것이나 목마르신 것이나 나그네 되신 것이나 헐벗으신 것이나 병드신 것이나 옥에 갇히신 것을 보고 공양하지 아니하더이까
"They also will answer, `Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?

45 이에 임금이 대답하여 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 지극히 작은 자 하나에게 하지 아니한 것이 곧 내게 하지 아니한 것이니라 하시리니
"He will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.

46 그들은 영벌에, 의인들은 영생에 들어가리라 하시니라
"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

1. 배경지식
- 이웃과의 관계에 대한 비유(cf. 하나님과의 관계에 대한 비유 열처녀/달란트)
- 양과 염소는 구분하기 매우 어렵다(털을 깎은 상태에서는 자세히 보아야 구분이 가능할 정도)
- 37,44절 : 당사자들이 몰랐다. 이웃에게 선을 행하는 것이 당연한 것이어서, 혹은 행한 적이 없어서(무관심)

2. 관점차이
- 사람 : 삶을 살아가는 것과 하나님을 경배하는 것은 별개의 것
- 예수님 : 하나님의 뜻대로 작은 자에게 선을 행하는 것이 진정한 믿음의 증거이자 하나님을 경배하는 삶

3. 하나님이 원하시는 바
- 하나님이 하실 선한 일에 손발이 되어 행하는 것

달란트 받은 자의 비유

마태복음 25장

14 ○또 어떤 사람이 타국에 갈 때 그 종들을 불러 자기 소유를 맡김과 같으니
"Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them.

15 각각 그 재능대로 한 사람에게는 금 다섯 달란트를, 한 사람에게는 두 달란트를, 한 사람에게는 한 달란트를 주고 떠났더니
To one he gave five talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

16 다섯 달란트 받은 자는 바로 가서 그것으로 장사하여 또 다섯 달란트를 남기고
The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more.

17 두 달란트 받은 자도 그같이 하여 또 두 달란트를 남겼으되
So also, the one with the two talents gained two more.

18 한 달란트 받은 자는 가서 땅을 파고 그 주인의 돈을 감추어 두었더니
But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his masters money.

19 오랜 후에 그 종들의 주인이 돌아와 그들과 결산할새
"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.

20 다섯 달란트 받았던 자는 다섯 달란트를 더 가지고 와서 이르되 주인이여 내게 다섯 달란트를 주셨는데 보소서 내가 또 다섯 달란트를 남겼나이다
The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. `Master, he said, `you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.

21 그 주인이 이르되 잘하였도다 착하고 충성된 종아 네가 적은 일에 충성하였으매 내가 많은 것을 네게 맡기리니 네 주인의 즐거움에 참여할지어다 하고
"His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your masters happiness!

22 두 달란트 받았던 자도 와서 이르되 주인이여 내게 두 달란트를 주셨는데 보소서 내가 또 두 달란트를 남겼나이다
"The man with the two talents also came. `Master, he said, `you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.

23 그 주인이 이르되 잘하였도다 착하고 충성된 종아 네가 적은 일에 충성하였으매 내가 많은 것을 네게 맡기리니 네 주인의 즐거움에 참여할지어다 하고
"His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your masters happiness!

24 한 달란트 받았던 자는 와서 이르되 주인이여 당신은 굳은 사람이라 심지 않은 데서 거두고 헤치지 않은 데서 모으는 줄을 내가 알았으므로
"Then the man who had received the one talent came. `Master, he said, `I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

25 두려워하여 나가서 당신의 달란트를 땅에 감추어 두었었나이다 보소서 당신의 것을 가지셨나이다
So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.

26 그 주인이 대답하여 이르되 악하고 게으른 종아 나는 심지 않은 데서 거두고 헤치지 않은 데서 모으는 줄로 네가 알았느냐
"His master replied, `You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?

27 그러면 네가 마땅히 내 돈을 취리하는 자들에게나 맡겼다가 내가 돌아와서 내 원금과 이자를 받게 하였을 것이니라 하고
Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28 그에게서 그 한 달란트를 빼앗아 열 달란트 가진 자에게 주라
"`Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.

29 무릇 있는 자는 받아 풍족하게 되고 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지 빼앗기리라
For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

30 이 무익한 종을 바깥 어두운 데로 내쫓으라 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈리라 하니라
And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1. 배경지식
- 금 한 달란트 : 34kg, 20억 이상의 가치, 한 달란트도 핑계할 만큼 적은 금액은 아님
- 종(관리자 급), 하인(정규 일반근로인), 품꾼(이벤트 시 한시적 일용직)
- 주인 : 상인, 당시 상업은 사회/경제적 환경의 요인보다 개인의 노력이 더 크게 성공의 열쇠 역할을 담당하는 수준
- 각각 그 재능대로(15절) : 종들의 특징을 이해하고 있음
- 바로가서(16절) : 주인의 뜻을 곧장 받들어 이행하는 태도

2. 관점차이
- 사람 : 시작부터 차별함(5/2/1), 손해 없는 결과도 다행이 아닌가?, 책망의 과도한 엄중함
- 하나님 : 자신의 정체성(삶의 목적)을 잊은 종에 대한 평가

3. 하나님이 원하시는 바
- 자신에게 주어진 은혜(직분)에 감사하며, 최선을 다하는 삶의 태도

시편 50장

7 내 백성아 들을지어다 내가 말하리라 이스라엘아 내가 네게 증언하리라 나는 하나님 곧 네 하나님이로다
"Hear, O my people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.

8 나는 네 제물 때문에 너를 책망하지는 아니하리니 네 번제가 항상 내 앞에 있음이로다
I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, which are ever before me.

9 내가 네 집에서 수소나 네 우리에서 숫염소를 가져가지 아니하리니
I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens,

10 이는 삼림의 짐승들과 뭇 산의 가축이 다 내 것이며
for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 산의 모든 새들도 내가 아는 것이며 들의 짐승도 내 것임이로다
I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine.

12 내가 가령 주려도 네게 이르지 아니할 것은 세계와 거기에 충만한 것이 내 것임이로다
If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.

13 내가 수소의 고기를 먹으며 염소의 피를 마시겠느냐
Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

14 감사로 하나님께 제사를 드리며 지존하신 이에게 네 서원을 갚으며
Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High,

15 환난 날에 나를 부르라 내가 너를 건지리니 네가 나를 영화롭게 하리로다
and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me."

- 관계정의(7,8절) : 하나님은 언제나 나의 하나님이시다
- 하나님은 모든 것을 소유하신 창조주

- 사람 : 하나님께 표현하는 행위 자체가 문제 풀이 법이다.
- 하나님 : 하나님과 사람의 관계의 정립이 근본이다.

- 감사와 성실로 하나님을 인정하고 따르고, 하나님이 보이시는 구원의 손길로 인해 영광을 돌리게 되는 체험의 삶을 살라.
