[다번역성경찬송]

누가복음 2장

41 ○그의 부모가 해마다 유월절이 되면 예루살렘으로 가더니 Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover.

42 예수께서 열두 살 되었을 때에 그들이 이 절기의 관례를 따라 올라갔다가 When he was twelve years old, they went up to the Feast, according to the custom.

43 그 날들을 마치고 돌아갈 때에 아이 예수는 예루살렘에 머무셨더라 그 부모는 이를 알지 못하고 After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it.

44 동행 중에 있는 줄로 생각하고 하룻길을 간 후 친족과 아는 자 중에서 찾되 Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends.

45 만나지 못하매 찾으면서 예루살렘에 돌아갔더니 When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him.

46 사흘 후에 성전에서 만난즉 그가 선생들 중에 앉으사 그들에게 듣기도 하시며 묻기도 하시니 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

47 듣는 자가 다 그 지혜와 대답을 놀랍게 여기더라 Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

48 그의 부모가 보고 놀라며 그의 어머니는 이르되 아이야 어찌하여 우리에게 이렇게 하였느냐 보라 네 아버지와 내가 근심하여 너를 찾았노라 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you."

49 예수께서 이르시되 어찌하여 나를 찾으셨나이까 내가 내 아버지 집에 있어야 될 줄을 알지 못하셨나이까 하시니 "Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didnt you know I had to be in my Fathers house?"

50 그 부모가 그가 하신 말씀을 깨닫지 못하더라 But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

51 예수께서 함께 내려가사 나사렛에 이르러 순종하여 받드시더라 그 어머니는 이 모든 말을 마음에 두니라 Then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart.

52 ○예수는 지혜와 키가 자라가며 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑스러워 가시더라 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

1. 예수님의 성경적 지식은 자연발생적인가? 노력에 의한 것인가?

- 지혜와 키가 자라가며... : 예수님의 삶에 대한 노력의 자세는 인간의 모든 것을 이해하실 수 있다는 가장 중요한 감사의 증거다.

2. 하나님의 비밀은 하나님이 주신 사명을 목표로 노력하는 것이 의미 있다는 것에 있다.

- 자녀 양육에는 하나님의 사명을 따르는 명확한 목표를 주는 것이 가장 중요하다.

- 하나님과 함께하는 것을 즐거워 하는 삶이 가장 사랑스러워 지는 비결이다.
