마태복음 13장

53 ○예수께서 이 모든 비유를 마치신 후에 그 곳을 떠나서
When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there.

54 고향으로 돌아가사 그들의 회당에서 가르치시니 그들이 놀라 이르되 이 사람의 이 지혜와 이런 능력이 어디서 났느냐
Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. "Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?" they asked.

55 이는 그 목수의 아들이 아니냐 그 어머니는 마리아, 그 형제들은 야고보, 요셉, 시몬, 유다라 하지 않느냐
"Isnt this the carpenters son? Isnt his mothers name Mary, and arent his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?

56 그 누이들은 다 우리와 함께 있지 아니하냐 그런즉 이 사람의 이 모든 것이 어디서 났느냐 하고
Arent all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"

57 예수를 배척한지라 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하시되 선지자가 자기 고향과 자기 집 외에서는 존경을 받지 않음이 없느니라 하시고
And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, "Only in his hometown and in his own house is a prophet without honor."

58 그들이 믿지 않음으로 말미암아 거기서 많은 능력을 행하지 아니하시니라
And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

1. 예수님에 대한 주민들의 반응
- 그 목수의 아들이 아니냐(당시 존경받지 못하는 직업)
- 그의 가족이 우리가 다 아는 보통사람 아니냐
※자기만의 생각(고정관념)으로 현재의 상황/현실(말씀과 능력)을 부정함

2. 예수님의 반응과 나의 모습
- 안다고 생각하는 사람일 수록 진실을 보지 못하는 상황은 당연하다.
- 믿지 않기에 많은 능력을 행하지 아니하심
(예수님의 목적은 구원이고 믿음을 통해서만 가능하기 때문)
- 내가 듣고 보고싶은(기대) 모습과 다르면 배척하지 않는가?

※하나님을 믿는다면, 겸손하게 진리를 받아들일 수 있어야 한다.

겸손하라

베드로전서 5장

5 젊은 자들아 이와 같이 장로들에게 순종하고 다 서로 겸손으로 허리를 동이라 하나님은 교만한 자를 대적하시되 겸손한 자들에게는 은혜를 주시느니라
Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."

6 그러므로 하나님의 능하신 손 아래에서 겸손하라 때가 되면 너희를 높이시리라
Humble yourselves, therefore, under Gods mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

7 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡기라 이는 그가 너희를 돌보심이라
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1. 겸손
- 남을 존중하고 자기를 내세우지 않는 태도가 있음.
- 세상으로 부터 약하다는 평가를 받기 쉬움.(비굴함 등)

2. 교만
- 잘난 체하며 뽐내고 건방짐.
- 하나님이 미워하는 것.

3. 우리의 선택
- 교만은 감사로 이어질 수 없다.
- 하나님의 손 아래서의 겸손은 감사가 따라올 수 밖에 없다.(6,7절)

※인생의 진정한 목적은 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 것, 모든 선택은 이에 초점이 맞춰져야 한다.

마태복음 13장

44 ○천국은 마치 밭에 감추인 보화와 같으니 사람이 이를 발견한 후 숨겨 두고 기뻐하며 돌아가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 밭을 사느니라
"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

45 ○또 천국은 마치 좋은 진주를 구하는 장사와 같으니
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.

46 극히 값진 진주 하나를 발견하매 가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 진주를 사느니라
When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

47 ○또 천국은 마치 바다에 치고 각종 물고기를 모는 그물과 같으니
"Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish.

48 그물에 가득하매 물 가로 끌어 내고 앉아서 좋은 것은 그릇에 담고 못된 것은 내버리느니라
When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.

49 세상 끝에도 이러하리라 천사들이 와서 의인 중에서 악인을 갈라 내어
This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous

50 풀무 불에 던져 넣으리니 거기서 울며 이를 갈리라
and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

51 ○이 모든 것을 깨달았느냐 하시니 대답하되 그러하오이다
"Have you understood all these things?" Jesus asked. "Yes," they replied.

52 예수께서 이르시되 그러므로 천국의 제자된 서기관마다 마치 새것과 옛것을 그 곳간에서 내오는 집주인과 같으니라
He said to them, "Therefore every teacher of the law who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old."

1. 천국은...
- 밭에 감추인 보화
- 극히 값진 진주
- 물고기 그릇
- 모든 사람이 볼 수 있지만 진정한 가치를 아는 자만이 발견하면 설레고 얻고자 결단하며, 노력한다.

2. 천국을 발견하려면?
- 하나님의 은혜로만 가능하다.(고린도후서4:6, 에베소서2:8-9)
- 내 주변에서 발견하게 된다.(밭을 가는 이는 소작인이다)
- 발견 후에야 결단이 가능하며, 노력하는 것이 의미가 있다.

※하나님의 말씀을 통해 천국을 발견하고 이해하고 행하도록 노력해야 한다.

사무엘상 2장

12 ○엘리의 아들들은 행실이 나빠 여호와를 알지 못하더라
Elis sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD.

13 그 제사장들이 백성에게 행하는 관습은 이러하니 곧 어떤 사람이 제사를 드리고 그 고기를 삶을 때에 제사장의 사환이 손에 세 살 갈고리를 가지고 와서
Now it was the practice of the priests with the people that whenever anyone offered a sacrifice and while the meat was being boiled, the servant of the priest would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand.

14 그것으로 냄비에나 솥에나 큰 솥에나 가마에 찔러 넣어 갈고리에 걸려 나오는 것은 제사장이 자기 것으로 가지되 실로에서 그 곳에 온 모든 이스라엘 사람에게 이같이 할 뿐 아니라
He would plunge it into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot, and the priest would take for himself whatever the fork brought up. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.

15 기름을 태우기 전에도 제사장의 사환이 와서 제사 드리는 사람에게 이르기를 제사장에게 구워 드릴 고기를 내라 그가 네게 삶은 고기를 원하지 아니하고 날 것을 원하신다 하다가
But even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, "Give the priest some meat to roast; he wont accept boiled meat from you, but only raw."

16 그 사람이 이르기를 반드시 먼저 기름을 태운 후에 네 마음에 원하는 대로 가지라 하면 그가 말하기를 아니라 지금 내게 내라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 억지로 빼앗으리라 하였으니
If the man said to him, "Let the fat be burned up first, and then take whatever you want," the servant would then answer, "No, hand it over now; if you dont, Ill take it by force."

17 이 소년들의 죄가 여호와 앞에 심히 큼은 그들이 여호와의 제사를 멸시함이었더라
This sin of the young men was very great in the LORDs sight, for they were treating the LORDs offering with contempt.

26 아이 사무엘이 점점 자라매 여호와와 사람들에게 은총을 더욱 받더라
And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with men.

1. 사무엘
- 하나님의 택함받은 자
- 종교개혁의 최 선봉장

2. 사무엘에게 인생의 전환점(위기의 다른 이름)
- 어린시절 홀로 하나님의 사람으로 바쳐진 때
- 엘리의 아들들(홉니와 비느하스)에게 물들 수 있던 환경
- 이스라엘 민족의 왕권 체제 요구

3. 위기를 극복하고 위대하게 자랄 수 있던 힘
- 사무엘 안에 하나님이 계셨다
- 어머니의 신앙에 기초함(삼상2:6~8)
※점점 자라매 여호와와 사람들에게 은총을 더욱 받더라 (누가복음2:52)
